I have published about 50 papers in international and national journal and contributed in 11 edited book as book chapters. He also contributed in more than 40 internal and national conferences.
Major research contributions / notable work
My areas of specialization include: Water accounting plus (WA+); Watershed hydrology, Irrigation modelling, Crop modelling, Climate change, Remote sensing and GIS applications. Over the course of my career, I have been involved in leading and contributing to projects in the Himalayan region, including ‘National Mission for Sustaining the Himalayan ecosystem (NMSHE)’, Monitoring of the Bhagirathi river at the Bhojwasa (Gomukh), Establishment of an experimental site at Henvel near Chamba, Uttarakhand, Development of water accounts using satellite based open data for Kaveri basin, Subernarekha basin and states of Nagaland and Meghalaya. In addition to the research contributions, I am actively engaged in academic mentoring. I have co-guided 15 M.Tech. students and 2 Ph.D. scholars (awarded), and is currently co-guiding 3 Ph.D. students.
