Major research contributions / notable work
1. Designed and developed the machines such as, sensor-based potato planter cum-PE-herbicide applicator, Magnetic Hall sensor-based portable PE-herbicide applicator for seed drills and planters, Sonar sensor based intra-row weeder, Low-cost riding type weeder, Multi-Nozzle Spray Boom Holding Tool for Tractor Operated Stationary Mount Boom Sprayer, An Adjustable Spray Boom-Holding Assembly for Hand-Free Knapsack Sprayer, Solar powered tri-cycle sprayer, hand held battery weeder, power weeder for DSR and sticky soil condition, small tractor boom sprayer, self propelled rotary vertical axis weeder, garlic weeder etc.
2. One developed technology “Adjustable spray boom holding attachment for multi-nozzle knapsack sprayer” was licensed to private firm and commercialized.
3. Received ICAR certification for 5 technologies and two products.

6. Developed standard operating procedure (SOP) for herbicide application through drones and standardized the spraying technologies for knapsack sprayer.
7. Standardized spraying technologies for low-dose-high-potency herbicide molecules.
Awards / recognitions
Received several prestigious awards such as “Young Engineer” from The Institute of Engineers India Kolkata, “Young Weed Scientist” and “Young Scientist Travel Grant Award” from Indian Society of Weed Science Jabalpur, “Young Scientist” from Asia-Pacific Weed Science Society (APWSS), “Best Worker Award” from ICAR-DWR, Jabalpur and several best oral and poster presentation Awards during International and National conferences. Presently serving as Editor for prestigious Scientific Journal "Indian Journal of Weed Science".
