Admission Procedure
Admissions to all programmes at ICAR-IARI Assam are conducted through national-level entrance examinations by NTA on behalf of ICAR.
B.Sc. (Agriculture)
- Admission through ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Agriculture (AIEEA-UG), conducted annually by NTA on behalf of ICAR
- Eligibility: 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Mathematics from a recognised board
- Minimum marks: 50% (General) / 40% (SC/ST/OBC) in qualifying examination
- Seats filled through centralised counselling based on AIEEA rank
M.Sc. (Agriculture)
- Admission through ICAR AIEEA-PG examination, conducted annually by NTA
- Eligibility: B.Sc. (Agriculture) or equivalent degree with minimum 60% marks
- ICAR Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) available to eligible candidates
- Counselling conducted by ICAR at national level
